Stampede by the Sea is raising funds and awareness for @weldmarhospicecare, and every week we`re highlighting a sponsor who has effectively paid for an entire day`s care for all patients at their Inpatient Unit. Today, that is Saffery – market leaders in accountancy, audit, business advisory, tax and VAT services – and we took Ponty to see the team!

Stampede by the Sea is raising funds and awareness for Weldmar Hospicecare. The Memory Elephant will be part of our art trail in Bridport, West Bay and Lyme Regis in the spring, and you can have the name of a loved one hand painted onto the sculpture.
Instead of going to auction, the Memory Elephant will find a forever home, after the trail, in the grounds of Weldmar`s Inpatient Unit. It will be painted in the colours of the uniforms of those wonderful individuals who provide outstanding care there, and in communities across Dorset in patients` own homes.
Make sure the name of your loved one is included, and create a lasting legacy in their name.

Calling all shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, offices – in fact, any local business with a window in Bridport, West Bay and Lyme Regis!
We`re looking for homes for our Mini Herd (including Ponty!) during the trail, which starts in March and continues for eight weeks. In return for a Β£250 donation to Weldmar Hospicecare (which can be raised over the next year), you will be part of the trail route, and listed on our app and map.
