Our elephant is named ‘Brit’. As a seaside town and an Ocean Friendly School, we chose the name as it links to the River Brit – A river named after Bridport that flows into Bridport Harbour, now known as West Bay. Named by those who painted it. Stampede by the Sea means so much to our school as we have many students whose family members have been part of, patients within, or family members of those receiving care from Weldmar Hospicecare. As a local charity to us, it means a huge amount to us to be able to directly support a group that supports our families and students.
