At St Osmund’s, we affectionately refer to anyone who is part of the school’s community as an ‘Ossie’. Our design competition focused on our values of Hope, Community, Love and Respect. Each year group were given a colour theme and a value. We chose jigsaw pieces, as we are all different, but we can all come together to be part of the bigger picture. When winners had been selected, we invited each winner to hand paint their design onto Ossie, who was carefully sponge painted in the school’s colour. We also included our school’s verse ‘no-one left out, no-one left behind’. The result was amazing, and we are so thrilled to have such talented pupils. We can’t wait to see him with his herd, and we have loved being a part of this raising vital funds for this fantastic charity.
