Ivory’s name was chosen at our Christmas Fair. We aimed to raise awareness about the threat to wildlife, particularly elephants, due to the illegal ivory trade, and to highlight the theme of the ‘elephant in the room’. The design was chosen from more than one hundred entries. It beautifully captures elements of brightness, sadness, movement, and thought through its patterns and colours. The final design is a collaboration between two talented students, combining their unique artistic visions. Both students poured their hearts into creating Ivory, hoping to bring smiles to those who see her, even on difficult days.
