Pebblefoot’s name is inspired by the rugged, stony paths of Purbeck. He loves to explore different terrains which represent the challenging journey families navigate through grief when they lose a loved one – taking one step at a time. Pebblefoot is a deaf elephant wearing cochlear implants, representing inclusion and overcoming barriers deaf individuals face in their lives. With the help of all year groups from St Mark’s Primary School in Swanage, Pebblefoot has been collaged with cloud shapes in various hues of blue. The cloud is the logo of Cumulus Outdoors, an adventure provider on the Jurassic Coast. It embodies the spirit of exploration and creativity that inspires people to connect with nature and embark on thrilling outdoor experiences making unpredictable and unforgettable memories together.
