Since January, St Mary’s CE Middle School has been very busy with a competition for pupils to come up with a design to decorate the sculpture, with almost everyone taking part. There were so many good ideas and it was really difficult choosing a winner but it was the fabulous confectionery creation that won us over. It is probably no surprise that the naming competition winner came up with the name Sweety. We are extremely fortunate to have funding from our School Association to enable us to take part in this project. The St Mary’s community is really looking forward to the art trail in our local area and we are so proud to be taking part.
